Ok y’all, my wife’s hair has always been very fine and a little thin. She was diagnosed with a disease in May, and since, her hair has gotten VERY thin! So that is initially why I ordered the rice water shampoo and conditioner. (And to be honest, I wanted to try it too!!) She is on week 4 of using just the shampoo, and y’all just look at the difference!!! Look at this result!!!!! It was kinda weird getting started using the bars, they're just so different than bottle products, but after a cpl times of usage I got the hang of it. My hair feels so much cleaner and softer and my thinness is disappearing!! So thrilled with the results even after only 6wks of use.

I like this Kojic bar! When I first got it in the mail, I didn’t even have the box open and I could smell the fragrance from the bar, so it is very strong. Some people may not mind, but others who are sensitive to smell should take note. The ridges on the bar makes it easier to grip onto the sides to hold when using it, especially in the shower. I make sure to take it out of the shower for it to dry so it stays in tact as long as possible.

I gradually saw a few areas of my skin subtly brighten after multiple uses over 2 weeks, but I did notice that my skin felt a bit more sensitive being out in the sun, so I have to make sure I’m applying sunscreen everyday, at least a couple times a day. I noticed one of my darker sunspots on the side of my face has gotten lighter, and that it seems to be doing good at slowly tackling any minor scars or reducing redness from acne. On my arms, it has helped blur the “farmer’s tan lines” on my biceps, but my forearms only look slightly lighter overall.

The only thing that I haven’t noticed a difference are the little freckles across my nose and cheeks. If anything, they seem a little more noticeable. But since there are many, I’m sure it will be much longer for me to notice any changes. Overall, it is a subtle transformation for me, helping to even out and brighten my skin tone. I have only been using this on my face for a week (and only every other day) and I can already see some of my dark spots lighting up! And my over all skin tone evening out. The picture on the left was taken on December 1 and the one on the right was taken December 8th. I’m excited to see what next week will bring.
