I have curly hair (3a or 3b) and the only detangling brush I’ve had for the shower is one of those wide tooth straight combs, which is fine for slowly getting knots undone, but not so great for smoothing or curl definitions (and certainly doesn’t feels great running the hard plastic teeth through my hair, against my scalp). So I would use my Denman brush after the shower to detangle any remaining hair & get my curls clumps looking nice. But since the brush was not meant to be used in the shower, I didn’t have something good, until I got Kitsch’s detangling brush. At first, I thought it would be like the handheld scalp brush that’s short and plastic, where the handle has to be screwed on (which lasts for a short bit before breaking). I used it after the shower, just putting a small amount of the air dry cream then let my hair air dry, and my curls looks so gorgeous when it dried! And mind you, I’m a curly hair girl that doesn’t not have the money, time or energy to be like those TikTok girls who use multiple products and blow dry their hair with a diffuser to achieve gorgeous curls. I only use one hair product after my shower, and thought they looked good most days, but now…
